Your business data stays your business

What we collect

• Account details - the name, user name, phone number and email address of each user, the company name, address and GST number.
• Business records you enter - customers and suppliers (names, phone numbers, addresses), stock items, bills, vouchers, payments, ledgers and reports.
• Pictures you choose to add - photos of purchase bills for AI Bill Scan, the company logo, and seal and signature images.
• Sign-in and security records - the time and IP address of sign-ins, accepted plan terms and changes made to vouchers (the Voucher Edit Log), and error reports that help us fix problems.

Phone and computer permissions

• Camera - to scan barcodes and QR codes and to photograph bills. Pictures are sent only when you choose to save or scan them.
• Microphone - for voice search. The phone's own speech service turns your voice into text; StockXPlus receives only the text.
• Bluetooth and, on older Android phones, location - only to find and connect thermal printers. StockXPlus does not record or send your location.

How we use it

• To run StockXPlus for you: billing, stock, accounts, printing, reports and sending bills to your customers.
• To keep accounts secure, give support when you ask for it, and send plan invoices and renewal reminders.
• We do not sell data, we do not show advertisements, and we do not use your business records for marketing.

Who else handles it

Only service providers that do a job for StockXPlus, and only the part that job needs:

• Google Gemini - reads the bill photos you send to AI Bill Scan.
• WhatsApp messaging provider - delivers the bills and messages you choose to send.
• Razorpay - processes StockXPlus plan payments made on the website.
• GST e-Invoice and e-Way Bill portals - receive the invoices you choose to register.
• Our servers and backup storage - where your data is kept. A business that runs StockXPlus on its own server keeps its data there.

We share data with the authorities only when the law requires it.

Your customers' data

Customer and supplier details belong to the business that enters them. StockXPlus keeps them for that business and uses them only to provide the service.

How long we keep it, and deletion

We keep a company's data while its StockXPlus account is in use, so that bills and accounts stay available. The company owner can ask us to delete the account and its data at any time - see Delete your StockXPlus account.

Security

StockXPlus is reached over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored only in a protected (hashed) form, and each user sees only what their role allows.

Children

StockXPlus is business software for adults and is not meant for anyone under 18.
